About Tom

Tom McCulloch, a Scottish novelist and poet, was born in Wick, Caithness. Tom earned praise for his debut novel The Stillman and was described as a ‘blistering talent on the literary scene’ for his follow-up, A Private Haunting.

His third novel, The Accidental Recluse, was a Scotsman newspaper book of the year. Tom’s stories and poems have appeared in many journals, and he recently contributed to the anthology Jacked (Run Amok Crime).
